Nature City Camp bridges access and opportunity for children of diversity to immerse in outdoor adventure and healing nature space, supported by culturally compassionate community, providing safe adventure activities, to feel secure in trying new things in a compassionate place to be seen.

Adventure
This all-access adventure week highlights the best of nature spaces the E. Bay from land to sea! We greet each activity day progressing through proper warm up/stretches, safety and skills development, experience, practice and participating peaking to joy. Each day fosters independence, autonomy and executive functioning skills while building confidence in community.

This unique camp is unapologetically created to acknowledge, elevate, and appreciate the Afro-Diaspora, Hispanic, Indigenous, Pacific Islander, Asian, Desi, Blended race population and children of the Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Genderfluid, Bisexual communities through nature, adventure, recreation, art, and play. This is an all-access week opportunity to celebrate the rich diversities of being just who we are in community together. Promoting teachable moments through collaboration and sovereign joy, Nature City Camp is truly a space to let go and play.

This 4-day discovery camp is open to all genders, ages 8+ years old. Ideal camp for ages 8-14 years old.
BIPOC and/or LGBTQ Community are prioritized in registration, program module and staffing.

Mon. 6/30 - Hike & Cool! After morning hike exploring the Redwoods, well take a dip at the Roberts Regional Park Pool!
Tues. 7/1 - Aerial Adventure Course Let’s take teambuilding higher; in the trees of Cal Adventures Ropes Course.
Wed. 7/2 - Rock Climbing
On Belay! Let’s Go Climbing and connect on Ohlone Land (N. Berkeley). All encompass experience bouldering, top rope climbing and rappelling. It’s not about reaching the top; but the journey on the way there.
Thurs. 7/3 - Kayaking
SeaTrek Alameda
Pack a lunch for a paddle to Crown Beach. After ground morning team building and ground school, we’ll suit up and paddle out together!
