On Belay! Belay On!  Our Each One, Teach One adventures on rock gives mature climbers the opportunity to reaffirm belay skills and new climbers the opportunity to experience outdoor top rope climbing for the first time!

Let's Go Camping!  Getting in the spirit of summertime fun, let's jumpstart with a few nights together under the stars and climbing at Mount Tamalpais
Prepare for warm days and cool nights for this ALL TEAM event. 

This trip is evolving. Due to limited Pinnacles response, this trip has been adjusted to an overnight + climbing. Mount Tamalpais is easy to get to, drive in parking and easy access to climbing at an affordable price for attendees. We will host this camping trip with 3+ participants! Confirm on / before April 15

Tents, sleeping bags, ground pads, camp supplies, kitchen supplies, first aid kits, water, cooler, climbing gear/equipment, staffing.

Meals Provided: Dinner/Breakfast/Lunch + Snacks. Please send additional/vegan/halal/kosher needs in a small cooler.

What to Bring - (label name on ALL THINGS. Put all things in 1. One. Uno. Un. duffel bag/camping pack/large back pack)

  • Mess Kit (washable plate, bowl, spoon, fork, cup)

  • 1/2 cut dish sponge

  • Flashlight/ head light

  • Sm. pillow

  • 2 Lg. Nalagene / leak proof drinking bottle

  • 1 lg garbage bag

  • 2 - gallon zip lock bags

  • 2 - qt size zip lock bags

  • Sunscreen

  • Bug Spray

  • Chapstick

  • Small day pack/holder for water bottle & snack on hike

Keep packing very simple! Layers they put on in the evening will be the layers they put on in the morning!

  • Toiletries: Toothbrush, paste, washcloth (for washing face off at night/morning), small bio-degradable liquid soap (in ziplock), glasses case, moon cycle supplies

  • RX: Please label - Zip lock bag: Name of Camper/Medication/Dose/Time

PLEASE NOTHING FLAMMABLE+CAMPFIRE ARE NOT PERMITTED. STUFFY ALLOWANCE IS 1 (and they must be washable). NO IPADS, ELECTRONICS OR CELLPHONES UNLESS THEY ARE USED AS COMMUNICATION DEVICES. HAIR MUST BE PULLED BACK/CAPPED FOR SAFETY.

ANYTHING VALUABLE AND IMPORTANT SHOULD STAY AT HOME.

Welcome to bring their own sleeping bag and ground pad. Please check zippers and make sure they work.

More opportunities to hear the voice from the top during our rope climbing excursion at Cragmont.  Test your memory, push your confidence! Get into your gear yourself and buddy check, meet at the bottom of the route!

Let’s get on the water. Today we are kayaking after a ground stroke school review water entry/exit and clean up we will paddle in the lagoon to learn Oakland donuts and paddling backwards!

•    Bathing suit under clothes to practice.  If participant is planning to use a wetsuit, limit frilly suits.  
    
•    Rash guards are great for cover up and protection. 
    
•    Aqua socks or strap back sandals are recommended.  
    
•    Sunscreen/hat
No crocs on the dock!

•    Change of dry clothes

What is at the end of the trail?  This week we will start at the end and travel to the tunnel (and back).  It's a rocky and tricky terrain!  Bring your walking sticks, wear sneaker/hiking boots!

Sandstone is a unique terrain to explore!  Come out for a day of climbing at Castle Rock State Park (Ohlone Land and Muwekma Territory) with the team!  It's a pristine crag set in the beauty of Los Gatos. 

We'll get the spring climbing season started bouldering and top rope climbing!

We are community coming together to support LA Recovery. Join us in the first of many fundraising efforts to help those in need. Clean out closets, wash clothes, bag them and tag them for morning drop off at Oaktown Boulders Climbing Gym. Our team will be there for quick hand offs and organizing!

All sports require conscious breathing and all athletes must learn to breathe to maximize performance. Climbing breath has as sound, a look, and a feel. We will return to How to Train Climbing Breath today, learning to sightread, cadence and movement. Note: Music students-please bring instruments to practice today.  Have a short piece of anything prepare and be prepared to respond to sightreading cues.
